Cyclones
Cyclones are used for the separation of solid fractions from air. They can be used individually or as a pre-separation before the filter unit. The efficiency of the cyclone separator depends on the size and weight of the particles and can be regulated in the pipework by valve.
The cyclone directs the air flow thanks to its cylindrical shape. Due to the centrifugal effect and inertia, the solid particles are separated from the air. The separated dust falls spontaneously in the lower part of the cyclone and is guided through a rotating sluice into a big bag or silo.
Applications:
- Transfer points
- Transport systems
- Machine dust removal
- Chemical industry, food industry, etc.
